Scratched paintwork

I sent.my 2018 vw polo storm to ballito vw for a battery replacement. The car was washed and polished before it went to the dealership so there was no need for them to wash the car. Battery was replaced and when i went to pick up the car, it had lots of scratches that apparently was done when the car was being washed at their wash bay. I showed the service advisor the scratches and she said that they will attend to it when the car came in for service 2 weeks later. 2 weeks later when.the car went in for service, they hand polished the scratched panels yet the scratches were still visible. I spoke to management and they said I must get a quote to have the car machine polished which I did and I have been waiting 4 months for reply from vw ballito management. After numerous calls and messages to the service advisor, I haven't had a response. Vw ballito is utterly useless and I won't recommend anybody using them.

Bad workmanship on repairs at VW agents Benoni City

My car went in for a repair and after numerous times being returned and same fault each time a new issue comes up and i must pay for the repair what kind of place is this they do fault finding against customer expense and just continue charging although from first check in there was no issue on the other items i had to pay for and now they want more money to repair item that was not faulty at all from day one and no manager can help all they say the service advisor is call to get authorisation for repair and so client can pay not acceptable i can give a detailed history on my vehicle since it went to them and i feel they a RIP OFF's just want business and eat the clients money

I bought a new VW transporter from Volkswagen in 2011 Vin Number WV2ZZZ7HZCH003318. A year or two back i complained directly to Volkswagen Centurion that the paint on the roof was peeling off and the answer that i received that was this was natural and i had to pay half of what is needed to redo the paint. VW would pay the other half. According to them there was a life-time warranty on rust but not on paint - obviously i had no idea that this was even possible. At present the paint is peeling off my vehicle so badly that i cannot wash my vehicle as the paint literally falls off when washing. I can just imagine what the answer is going to be - do not wash your car :-) If this is indeed the quality of paint used on Volkswagen vehicles could someone please confirm this in writing as this was not the quality that i expected from a good brand like VW.(082 410 ****)

Not willing to help/ Bad after service.

I bought a brand new 2018 polo vivo last year in March which is only 1 year now but it is giving me *** of experience that I sometimes don't even go to work or places that I want to go to on time simply because it is locking the back wheels and can't move. I've sent it to Barrons Pmb 3 times already in which few weeks ago its locked the back wheels while I was at work totally & I phoned VW SA who organised Barrons to come & tow it from work and it took me 3 days to get it back & I was suffering without a car but it is still not sorted as it is still locking wheels even now that we ended up not going to church yesterday as it did the same as usual. The sad part is that VW don't even bother to give me courtesy car or take me to where I want to go to during the times when I'm suffering but I have to PAY THE FULL INSTALMENT for this car every month. I have spoken to my sales person who is Kelvin at Alpine Motors in Pinetown and he said he is just the sales person he cannot help me plus I spoke to Shannon whom I supposed she is the manager or dealership manager at Alpine Motors Pinetown and she was also not willing to help me. I am really pissed off & need this sorted as soon as possible otherwise I'll have to take this to the next level. My contact number is 072 429 **** and my ID number is 791018 **** 085. 50 Breakdowns VW Crafter Bus

Our company bought 5 brand new VW crafter buses, which between them had a total of 50 breakdowns, had to be taken in for an additional 109 repairs (excluding services) and had an average of 7 months downtime, in only 32 months. It was an absolute nightmare, we asked VW to take these obviously faulty buses away from us, as it was a danger to our drivers and passengers but they did not. We have been given no compenstaion for our loss of goodwill, nor have anyone from VW agreed to meet with us. This service is unacceptable! We wrote a letter detailing our complaint to Thomas SchafeR, managing director of VW south Africa, but owing to his busy schedule, he has been unable to read it.
